TANG Chi Keung Paul
Mr. Paul Tang was admitted as a solicitor in August 1992. He has over 20 years of experience in handling medical negligence and personal injury work.
Mr. Paul Tang dealt with the investigation of the Garley Building Fire which happened in November 1996 and resulted in the death of 41 victims. Since the establishment of Paul C.K. Tang & Co. (the predecessor of Paul C.K. Tang & Chiu) by Mr. Paul Tang in August 1999, he has dealt with many medical negligence claims and represented the victims of medical negligence cases in death inquests as instructing solicitor and advocate. He has also advised on personal injury cases and other litigation matters, including commercial crime and insurance policy liability.
Mr. Paul Tang regularly receives instructions from claimants to bring medical negligence claims against hospitals and doctors. Conversely, he has also defended doctors in the inquiries of professional misconduct of the Hong Kong Medical Council. He also receives instructions to deal with judicial review of the decisions of the inquiry panels of the Hong Kong Medical Council. In addition, he continues to act for claimants, defendants and insurers in a very wide range of personal injury cases.
Mr. Paul Tang has also provided pro bono services to intended claimants.
